This was a great beach house for our family. We had 6 adults and 2 kids, and everyone was very comfortable. It was an easy walk to the beach from the house, and the bay is great for kids--gentle tides, shallow water. Everything in the house was clean and convenient--there were even beach towels and chairs for us to use.

This is a lovely home, on a street which manages to be both quiet and close to everything! My family had a wonderful time and this house was part of the reason. The kitchen was great, the bathrooms were sufficient, I would recommend the house and Cape Charles.

This is a great house that really will sleep 7 or 8 adults comfortably. It will sleep more if you have kids to share some of the spaces. There is a trundle bed, a fold away and lots of space for everyone, besides the bedroom beds. We were a group of seven mature (well relatively) golfers and we had plenty of room to exist together. The only amenity we would have liked is an outside shower. An outside shower really helps when you have a bunch of people staying in one place. There is an outside faucet for rinsing feet etc.

Great location, the owner and the property manager were so easy to work with. We loved the town of Cape Charles!

If you are planning a family vacation to Cape Charles, please consider this rental, great location (Walking distance to both the beach and downtown), friendly neighbors, and a house that is stocked with the essentials.
We had a total of 8 Adults 3 kids under 5 and 1 yellow lab stays at Robyn's Nest for a week in mid-June 2017. The property was perfect with that many people because of the many rooms and solid (noise cancelling) structure. If you have a dog that has to come on vacation too, just be warned that the backyard is not all the way fenced, so don’t let the pooch out the back unattended.
We had a fun weekend in Cape Charles at this nicely kept house. The location was the advertised 3 blocks from the beach, but the entire town is easily walkable. The shops in town are eclectic and the restaurants are good for a weekend. Not sure about an extended stay.
The rental agents were very helpful and returned our full deposit.

Our only glitch came because there were not enough chairs to fit all of us at the dining room table without bringing in the hassocks from the TV area. Perhaps 4 or 5 folding chairs could be added for a house full of adults. I would also add a few more dinner plates. Perfect location though and very nice neighbors.

Perfect Property for a fall golf getaway. We were two miles from the courses and walking distances to the restaurants and beach

The location was incredible, and the house in general was nice, and able to accommodate a large group. The only issue was one of the showers was a little questionable and the water in general smelled very sulfurous (this might be a town thing and not limited to this house). But besides this the house was perfect for what we needed and all the reservation and everything process was very straightforward and easy, would recommend.

Robyn's Nest is in an ideal location with easy walking to the beach and shops. The home has three spacious bedrooms (the fourth bedroom is only accessible via the third) and a well-appointed kitchen. The only critique is that the property feels worn-- chipped paint on baseboards and walls, blinds with missing/broken slats, and the upstairs bathroom has definitely seen better days. It's a nice rental house, just be aware the condition isn't absolutely mint.

We were in the area to fish. What a great town, very beautiful and everyone was very friendly. The property worked well for us and even though the house was really old, it worked ok. I do have a couple requests for future stays. The house needs fans. Because it's so old there were no ceiling fans in any of the rooms, especially in the bedrooms. It doesn't cost a lot to install ceiling fans, especially in the bedrooms, but if not please have fans available . The only other suggestion I would make is to upgrade the upstairs bathroom one day. Like I said, the house is old and the floors are uneven, but that adds to the charm of the house and over all we really liked the house. Great location and with a few fans, even floor fans we would rent it again for sure.

Our family of 12 had a perfect spot for our mini get away to Cape Charles. The 4 bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Though be aware one bedroom has to be accessed through another bedroom. This wasn't too much of a problem but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Very nice to have a full bath upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped except for a good can opener and wine bottle opener (the ones provided did not work well). The large dining room table was great for our meals and card games except we could only find nine chairs in the house, which made it hard for us all to sit down together. We loved how close it was to main street and the beach. So nice to walk the lovely, friendly neighborhood! The back yard was great too, though in need of a mowing. We didn't mind putting the garbage can out on the road Monday night but it would be good to let guests know this in the paperwork as we had to ask neighbors. All in all we really liked Robyn's Nest for an value-priced and enjoyable get away. The house keeping staff was very quick to respond to our needs as well. Thank you!
